I like to cook, and I love to eat. Every event is an occasion to cook with and for my husband, family and friends, some of the best amateur cooks I know.

I live in Wisconsin with the loves of my life: my husband, Dave, my two cats, Athena and Artemis, and my books. I love playing hostess, I love themed events, and I am convinced my family and friends are some of the finest and most interesting people to walk this earth.

Behind the name: Dinner is my absolute favorite meal. After a day spent together, either my husband Dave and I will ask each other, generally in a cockney accent, “Do you have any designs on dinner?” At that point, the creative juices start flowing, and we create a delicious meal. Or we go out to eat. Or get sushi from the grocery store.
