Summer days bring out a crazy kind of contentment in me.
They’re perfect for hanging out at coffee shops.
Sipping delicious iced coffee.
And it’s so much easier to eat healthy in the summer. A grilled BBQ Portabella Cap topped with red onions and organic pea shoots and served with grapes just sounds summery, doesn’t it?
So does a Mediterranean Burrito with hummus, baba ghanouge, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and sunflower sprouts.
But summer nights are so beautiful, they make you feel more beautiful just by being in them.
There’s something intoxicating about a fire on a summer night.
Especially while enjoyed with an ice cold beer. Or three.
Stargazing makes you feel insignificant in the vast expanse of the universe.
And you become more apt to try crazy things.
You get so caught up in the moment that you laugh more than you’ve laughed in months, love things just a little bit harder, and are so wrapped up in the moment that you forget to take a picture of the year’s first s’mores.
